End the Filibuster

Washington is broken — and the filibuster is being abused to halt progress. I believe we should end the filibuster so we can end the partisan games and get back to the work of creating jobs and rebuilding the middle class.

Job creation isn't a political game, and the filibuster is doing more harm than good. Stand with me in support of ending it today — it's time we put an end to paralysis in Washington and started solving problems again.

The area could use some good news, and it got it

There is no way to put a bad face on this news. In the short term, it will mean hundreds of jobs in the construction trades. That alone will provide a boost in the local economy.

Fisher calls for ending filibuster

Lee Fisher, the Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, today called for ending the filibuster that is holding up an extension of unemployment benefits, proffering a living example of how Ohioans are being affected.
